Interview de la team france par juby :
New Day, new interview. Today Juby from France had the time to answer our questions.
Having played in the probably hardest group in the last NC with Germany, Finland and Scotland and having managed to get to the next round back then gives hope for some exciting matches with this team this time.
So head to the interview to get some infos about the french team
yankee: Hey Juby,
you got voted to act as the team captain. Why do you think the french nation believes in you?
Juby: As a veteran and Admin of french Red Orchestra Site my camerades believed in me. But the real reason was that I was the only one who asked for this difficult job.
yankee: Last time France started at the Killer-Group with Germany, Scotland and Finland. To everyone's supprise you made it into the next round but anyway the french team was the underdog at NC. What's your point of view about this attidude?
Juby: In general french clans aren't as good as other teams in the Roladder.
Last year the killer group was a hard challenge for us but we made it.
Propably because the last years germany team was a joke.
It was a very good suprise for us to join the second round, even if our primary objectives was uncompleted. We hope to go as far on the competion this year.
French people, even if we are a very big comunity, have a very big problem with international language -> english.
That's propably why we are "underdogs" for the international community.
yankee: As I heard you created a national team when there even wasn't any rumors about the next Nations Cup. What was the reason to get prepared this early and do you think you take any advantage of it?
Juby: In fact Tripwire Interactive asked SDLL(france distributor) about a national team.
so SDLL asked ROFr for this and here we are.
In my opinion we didn't get any avantage because we can't use our primary selection at the Nations Cup because of the maximum players amount rule.
yankee: At the interview with EscAz he told me that he founded NoWay at nation practices. So you even invite newcomers to such events like practices?
Juby: Yes! It's allways good to promote the teamplay with specials events.
Veterans can help newcomers and recrute some of them if they need some new members.
Newcomers get some advices from old players and can experience how powerfull teamplay can be.
yankee: I read a lot about teams practicing a lot with other clans or even against other nations. What do you think is better? A internal practice or a clanwar?
Juby: Internal pratices is a must have for all clans/teams to make sure about stategics, tactics, good spots and for a good map knowledge of every teamate.
Clanwars are very good to check your clan level. It's a good test to validate your internal pratice.
Nationwar is the best because all players are the best from the RO community so the level is very high at both teams.
But the Nation team shouldn't play against clans because it's not fair.
yankee: ROladder.net changed the NC tournament-system from group play and KO rounds to a double elimination system.
What's your oppinion about this point?
Juby: I'll see this year if this new NC tournament will be fair for all teams, especially for small countries.
yankee: Ok, as at every interview with teamcaptains we like to ask about favourites and your view about the own team.
Juby: My favorites are USA and Germany.
I believe England and Finland will be the challengers this year.
Even if the general skill of frog's eater isn't very good but the french selection got some very, very good players.
If we can keep a good moral for this team, we can hope to go as far in the competion as possible.
